Genesis 6:11-13

Genesis 6:11-13
The implication of this verse is that there was so much violence on Earth that the human population may have already been in decline. If so the Flood may have actually prevented the extinction of the human race.

Genesis 6:9-10

Genesis 6:9-10 is the being of Noah’s tablet or writing. The term “perfect in his generations” seems to indicate that Noah’s family was not involved in the events of his day, specifically those mentioned in verse 2. In fact the Bible is clear by the time of the Flood Noah’s family were the only genuine believers in God left.

Genesis 6:1-8

Genesis 6:1-8
This is an article on the sons of God mentioned in Genesis 6:1-8. There are several views about this passage. The differences in these views center on the identification of those referred two as “the sons of God” and the
other details of each view extends from who “the sons of God” are identified as. There are three main views on this: Sethites, Rulers, and Fallen angels,

Genesis 5:32

Genesis 5:32
It is clear from Genesis 11 that not all of these three sons were born in Noah’s 500th year. This is because Shem had a son at age 100, two years after the Flood. Since Noah was 603 at the time Shem would have been born when Noah was 503.

Genesis 4:25-26

Genesis 4:25-26
These verses indicate that Adam and Eve had had kids other cain and Abel since the verse uses the plural and does not just refer to Adam and Eve call on God.

Genesis 4:17-26

Genesis 4:17-26
Lamech is the first recorded case if bigamy he had two wives named Adah and Zillah. Adah's son Jabal was first nomadic herdsman. Adah's son Jubal was the first musician. Zillah's son Tubal-cain was the first metal working including brass and iron.

Tubal-cain sister Naamah is one of only four woman from before the Flood mentioned by name. She most likely married one of male descendants of Seth one possibility Ham. This is consistent with mitochondrial data which shows that Mrs. Shem and Mrs. Japheth were more closely related to each other than they
were to Mrs. Ham.

Genesis 4:16-17

Genesis 4:16-17

This is an article on the Cain’s wife and city mentioned in Genesis 4:16-17. This brings us to the most common question asked about the Bible “Where did Cain get his wife?” The answer is so simple that most people never consider it. She was his sister. While such inbreeding would a problem today, do to the high number of mutations siblings have in common it would not have been a problem in earlier generations.

Genesis 4:14-15

Genesis 4:14-15
This is an article on God spares Cain mentioned in Genesis 4:14-15. Cain’s concern that if someone were to find him they would only makes sense if there was a significant human population at the time all of which were descended from Adam and Eve. If Cain and Able had been the only kids at this time Cain would only have been concerned about his father finding him.

Genesis 4:3-13

Genesis 4:3-13
This is a commetary on the first murder as described in Genesis 4:3-13. This is also the first death of a human being. This is sad commentary on the human race that the first child born was also the first murder and that he killed his own brother.

Science and Religion in Conflict

Science and Religion in Conflict
This video is about the conflict between Science and Religion. The scientific establishment refusal of all consideration of the supernatural mans that when mainstream science and religion deal with the same topic there will be conflict with the exception of Atheism which denies the supernatural.

This is particularly the case with Cristianity where the Biblical account tell us that God directly created man but the scientific establishment claims based on absolute naturalism that we evolved from ape like animales.

Genesis 4:1-2

Genesis 4:1-2

This is a commentary on the birth of Cain and Abel mentioned in Genesis 4:1-2. This is an account of Adam's and Eve's fist children. It is often mistakenly assumed they Cain and Able were their only children, but that is not true. First of all later in this chapter a third son is mentioned named Seth and in the next chapter they are said to having had sons and daughters.

Genesis 3:14

Genesis 3:14
This suggests that snakes originally had legs and lost them as part of the curse related to Man’s fall. Indeed a fossil snake with small hind legs had been found. The most likely explanation for this fossil is that at the fall God turned off the genes in a snake for making legs and in some cases before the Genesis Flood a mutation turn it back on enough to produce legs in an unless, or reduced function form.

Genesis 2:24-25

Genesis 2:24-25

This is the first reference to marriage in the Bible. Note that God ordained marriage between a man and a woman so the Biblical definition of marriage is a union between a man and a woman, referring to them as “one flesh.” As a result no one and no government has any right to define it in any other way. The enter idea of homosexual marriage is not only a contradiction in terms but is a deliberate attack on the Biblical definition of marriage. It is being pushed by people who are desperately trying to get acceptance of their immorality.

Genesis 2:21-23

Genesis 2:21-23

In these vereses God creates the first woman; Eve. It is interesting that God useda rib because if it is removed while leaving the periosteum; a membrane around the rib, it will grow back. This strongly supports the historical nature of this account since it is unlikely that a 1st or 2nd millennium B.C. writer would know this fact or make the right choice by chance.

Video on the Burden of Proof

Video on the Burden of Proof

Burden of Proof is the obligation of a party to provide sufficient evidence in support of their side of a dispute or issue.

The side with the burden of proof is obligated to provide evidence to back up their view point. Determining the burden of proof is not always easy to do because it varies in different circumstances and changes in the course of the discussion.

In practical meaning the term “burden of proof” is actually a little strong because it implies the need to prove beyond a doubt. In practice it is really the burden of evidence.

Genesis 2:18-20

Genesis 2:18-20

When these events occurred Eve had not yet been created. God creates some additional animals in front of Adam so he could see God do it. God then has Adam name each kind of animal. This naturally raises the question of “Could Adam have named all these animals in one day?”
